The FAQ

Check-in is from 2pm. If you’re arriving late, give reception a bell on (02) 6649 7519 and we’ll sort you out. Check-out details are confirmed with your booking.

We love your pets! We’re one of Northern NSW’s top pet-friendly parks, with pet bookings on selected powered sites and pet-friendly cabins. Book pets via phone with the reservation team. During peak periods pet sites are limited and charged at $5 per night, so get in quick.

The Wedgie runs daily, weather permitting. Ride times are on the activity program at reception and on the resort app. It’s 120 metres, and yes, you’ll want to go again.

Yes: the Kids Club, pools, Splash Park and other resort facilities are exclusively for registered guests. 383 Bar & Restaurant, though, is open to everyone.

Really free. Grab a kayak or canoe and paddle the Wooli Wooli, just check them back in when you’re done.

The credit card used for the booking, presented physically, with matching valid ID. No ID can mean a cancelled booking, so don’t leave the wallet at home.

All cancellations must be in writing to reception@solitaryislandsresort.com.au. Want to change dates or request a specific site instead? Call the team and they’ll do their best.

There’s a boat ramp on-site with direct river access, and riverfront sites where you can tie up steps from your van.

We run regular maintenance to keep facilities safe, so occasionally something’s closed. We flag planned works on the website and socials. The fun-to-closed ratio stays firmly in your favour.
