Terms & Conditions

• All fees are charged in Australian dollars (AUD). Surcharges may apply on certain dates within your travel period. Accommodation, food & beverage and resort activities can be paid via the credit or debit card held on file.
• Debit cards (cheque and savings) are accepted. A 1% fee applies to credit card payments.
• Off-peak bookings: 50% at time of booking, with the final balance automatically deducted from your card on file on the day of arrival.
• Booking a school holiday period a year in advance requires a $100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit.
• Unless otherwise specified, any remaining balance is due in full the day before check-in and is automatically deducted from your card on file. Once fully pre-paid, your reservation is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Peak period payment schedules

• Easter: 50% due by 1 August, final balance by 1 February.
• Christmas: 50% due by 1 June, final balance by 1 November.
• September/October holidays: 50% due by 1 March, final balance by 1 August.
• We're unable to offer time extensions for payments. A price increase occurs on 1 February each year: reservations made after this date incur the increased rate.

All cancellations must be received in writing by our reservations team at reception@solitaryislandsresort.com.au. A $30 administration fee is retained on every cancelled booking, per site or cabin booked. We're unable to refund for late check-in, early check-out, shortened stays, illness or poor weather.

School holiday bookings

• More than 60 days' notice before arrival: fully refundable, less the $30 administration fee.
• 30 to 60 days' notice: forfeiture of the first night's accommodation cost.
• Inside 30 days of arrival: forfeiture of all monies paid.

Low season bookings

• More than 14 days' notice before arrival: fully refundable, less the $30 administration fee.
• Inside 14 days of arrival: forfeiture of all monies paid.
• The $100 advance school-holiday deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Our facilities (Kids Club, pools & Splash Park and everything else onsite) are exclusive to registered guests. You'll be issued a guest wristband on arrival, which must be worn for entry.
• Visitors are welcome via Day Visitor Passes for pool access and activities. Availability is limited during peak school holiday periods. Visitors are family or friends not registered to the booking and not staying overnight.
• For guest safety we conduct regular maintenance, so we can't guarantee every facility operates 12 months a year. Closures are at our discretion, with reasonable notice given via our website and social media where planned. No refunds are given for facility closures.
• A strict noise curfew applies 10pm–8am. Drunk, disorderly or aggressive behaviour isn't tolerated. Call-outs incur a fee starting at $200, and damage is charged at repair value.
• Artificial turf sites are strictly for tents and awnings only: no vehicles, caravans or trailers on the pad, and no hot items on the grass. Damage fees of up to $2,000 may apply.
• Please leave cabins, villas, huts and sites clean, tidy and undamaged, otherwise additional fees apply, starting at $200 up to the value of the damage.
• No campfires on individual sites: a communal campfire pit is available.

We love our pets, and we love yours. All pet bookings must be confirmed with our reservations team by phone.

• Off-peak: all sites are pet friendly (excluding astro turf sites), with a maximum of 2 pre-approved pets per site.
• School holidays & long weekends: pre-approved pets on limited sites only, charged at $5 per night. These sites go fast!
• Small to medium dogs only, up to 23kg: max 2 dogs per site and 1 dog in our pet-friendly cabins. Pets are welcomed at the managers' discretion.
• You'll sign our pet-friendly agreement on arrival, which outlines the rules for your stay.
• The following breeds are unfortunately not allowed: pit bull, rottweiler, mastiff, doberman, bulldog, bull terrier/staffy, ridgeback, bull arab, german shepherd, greyhound & chow chow.

Doggie rules

• Keep your dog leashed at all times, and take your dog with you whenever you leave your site: never leave them tied up.
• Walk your dog off the resort and pick up droppings.
• No dogs inside cabins, amenities, laundries, the pool area or the camp kitchen.
• You're responsible for your dog at all times: a $50 charge may apply if these rules aren't followed.

Kart hire is signed for on the Guest Registration. By signing, you acknowledge and accept the full hire conditions. The essentials:

• Kart driving is inherently risky: hirers accept all risk, and the resort's safety helmet must be worn by anyone operating the kart.
• Under-18s may only hire with a parent/guardian's permission and signature, and must be supervised at all times.
• Two people max on double karts, one on singles: no lap-sitting and no extra passengers jumping on. Total weight limit 140kg per kart (30kg for the small back seat).
• Ride on the roads only, carefully and keeping left: never near the front entrance or boom gate, never into the camp kitchen, arcade, amenities or carparks, and never off the resort.
• No crashing into people, property or other karts, and no towing or being towed.
• Return karts promptly at the end of your hire: late returns incur extra charges, and the resort may end a hire at any time. Enclosed footwear is strongly recommended.

• Valid for 3 years from date of purchase: bookings must be made within this period, and all accommodation is subject to availability at time of booking.
• Vouchers can be used for accommodation payments only, by the nominated recipient, and acceptance is subject to final verification by the property.
• The original voucher must be presented at check-in, otherwise payment must be made for the accommodation booked.
• Expired? An extension can be arranged for a small administration fee, but it must be requested before the expiry date.
• Vouchers can't be redeemed for cash, and no credit or change is given on any unused portion. Not valid for group booking, meeting or catering deposits.
• Lost, stolen, destroyed, photocopied or altered vouchers can't be replaced or redeemed.
